Research and Reports
“I confess, I love research, analyzing data, meeting with community members and writing reports that pull everything together,” says Anne, founder of New Ventures Community Building. New Ventures has been involved in a great deal of research over the years, and often pulls in other consultants to bring depth and breadth to large projects. Research should provide information to guide planning and serve as a roadmap for making positive community change. All research should be guided and informed by the communities they serve – whether that community be a town, city, state, association or national agency. The stakeholders that are most impacted by the work should have a voice in the research and the report.
