Community Needs & Assets Assessments
Over the past ten years, there has been a significant increase in community needs assessments – both from funders, agencies and communities. Anne has worked for years to build a community-engaged process for Community Needs Assessments and Community Health Assessments. New Ventures has worked with many different communities and types of assessments that are data driven and deeply engage community stakeholders to build practical, equity-based plans with goals and strategies that are prioritized for more effective implementation.
“When rooted in our communities and engaging state partners, these community needs assessments can help us to lay out a roadmap for action. They’re especially powerful when they acknowledge and leverage community and state assets.”
